Curved 30 inch pattern welded blade inlaid with a gold cartouche translating O’Ali! Gilt brass-mounted hilt comprising cruciform guard molded with central floral panel on a beaded ground; spine chased and engraved with a repeating diamond pattern; elephant ivory grip scales, the two rivets with gilt brass washers, the lanyard aperture with gilt brass lining. Gilt brass scabbard deeply chased on both sides with a design of scrolling floral tendrils within a diamond border; one side with the figure of a lion below the throat.
