Northwest trade gun
Manufactured c.1810 by Barnett in London, United Kingdom and shipped to be used as currency with North American natives.
.69 caliber smoothbore barrel, flintlock single shot, brass dragon lock-plate, native tack decoration.
This gun prominently features the dragon lock plate that was ever present on Northwest trade muskets, as well as a brass buttplate and the traditional brass tack decoration that many American natives added to their guns. It takes brass to fire a musket !
